A Day Trip to the Italian Island of Procida

I can’t believe I beat all the influencers to Prodica before it gets popular. It’s sure to become an Instagram destination very soon because of how beautifully colorful the island is. This small isle near Naples is a perfect little vacation spot that deserves a visit if you’re heading to the Amalfi Coast. Positano is already a very popular spot, but many people don’t know about Procida, which is just a boat ride away.

On this sleepy little island, you can enjoy the rainbow houses and peaceful harbor. The local seafood is to die for. A walk up the hill to the Abbey will give you the most amazing views of the town below. You can walk through the old streets and feel like you’ve gone back in time. You also get a gorgeous view of Vesuvius across the water on a sunny day. During the summer, you can go on a swim on one of the many beaches around the island. A day trip out to this island is the perfect addition to any Italian holiday.
